Wall-Mount Corian Mandir (Fully Customisable)
A wall-mount Corian mandir turns any blank wall into a dedicated shrine without losing a square inch of floor. This fully customisable floating design rides on a concealed steel cleat system, sits flush against the wall with zero visible fastener, and carries its own weight through a hidden bracket load-tested to 50 kg. The Corian body hand-finishes to a seamless acrylic surface that never yellows and wipes clean with a damp cloth. Designed and built in our Mumbai factory by Satguru Creations since 1975 — 10,000+ Corian mandirs delivered across India and export to the USA, UK, Canada and Australia.
Design theme and where it fits
This floating design reads beautifully across four interior styles: (1) modern apartment — clean edge profile, matte white Corian, no motif; (2) minimalist 1-BHK — narrow 24 inch width, subtle chamfered lip, pearl Corian; (3) contemporary Indian villa — 36 inch width with carved kalash band and warm ivory body; (4) designer condo abroad — 30 inch width with hairline gold inlay on the front fascia. The absence of any floor footprint means even a tight passageway, a hallway feature wall or an above-counter altar niche accepts the piece cleanly. Each build is planned around the exact wall surface declared at consult — drywall, brick, RCC or hollow block.
Mounting craftsmanship — the hidden engineering
The defining craft on this mandir is its invisible mounting. Every unit ships with a CNC-profiled steel cleat (Z-section, powder-coated) that screws into the wall first, and a matching receiver routed into the Corian back panel. The mandir slides down onto the cleat and self-locks against two level-adjust threaded feet at the base lip — micro-adjustable so the mandir reads perfectly horizontal even on an uneven wall. Anchor kits for drywall, concrete and brick ship with the unit. Our Mumbai factory tests every completed shell to 50 kg static load before despatch, and every joint on the Corian body is hand-polished to a seamless seam after CNC routing. The bracket is field-removable — you can unhook the mandir, re-mount it in a new room, and the cleat hides behind the next deity frame.
Material and finish
We use only DuPont-grade Corian — genuine acrylic solid surface, not the cheap PVC-acrylic sheets that yellow within two years and crack at the seam. Corian is lighter than marble, does not warp like wood and accepts a seamless chemical joint that is invisible once hand-polished. Over 40 sheet colours are available: Glacier White, Designer White, Warm Ivory, Pearl Gray, Canvas, Linen and more. Finish options are high-gloss, satin-matte or a dual-tone combining gloss fascia with matte body. The surface is food-safe, non-porous and wipes clean with a soft cloth and mild soap.
Size specifications
Floating wall-mount sizes run deliberately shallow to minimise wall intrusion. Compact 18 inch W x 10 inch D x 24 inch H — niche or passageway. Apartment 24 inch W x 12 inch D x 30 inch H — 1-BHK, most-ordered compact size. Standard 30 inch W x 14 inch D x 36 inch H — 2-BHK living wall. Large 36 inch W x 16 inch D x 42 inch H — open-plan feature wall. Premium 48 inch W x 18 inch D x 48 inch H — villa or export condo. Corian thickness is 12 mm standard or 19 mm premium. Every dimension is customisable to the inch, and mounting height from floor is finalised at the render stage for your eye level during aarti.
What you can customise
- Corian colour: Glacier White, Designer White, Warm Ivory, Pearl Gray, Canvas, or any DuPont-grade sheet code from the 40+ palette.
- Edge profile: square, chamfered, bullnose or waterfall fascia.
- Front fascia motif: plain, fluted, om embossing, swastik, kalash band or family-deity panel.
- Door type: open altar, sliding door, pocket door or jali fretwork door.
- Shelving: single deity platform, twin floating shelves, or stepped three-tier plinth.
- Finish: high-gloss, satin-matte or dual-tone.
- Lighting: optional warm-white LED strip under the base lip for a floating halo.
Where this wall-mount works best
Compact 1-BHK apartment: the 18 inch or 24 inch size mounts above a sideboard and frees the floor entirely. Apartment passageway or entryway: the 30 inch standard floats in the corridor between rooms, welcoming the home. Living-room feature wall: the 36 inch large reads as a statement piece without a floor footprint. Above-counter altar: the 24 inch compact sits directly above a console or kitchen ledge, ideal where floor space is zero. USA or Canada condo: the 30 or 36 inch size ships flat-pack, clears freight easily and mounts on standard North-American drywall with the supplied anchor kit.

Why Satguru Creations
We are the factory, not a reseller. Founded in 1975, Satguru Creations was Mumbai's first Corian mandir manufacturer and is now in its third generation. Over 10,000 Corian mandirs delivered, a live 4.8 out of 5 rating from 291 verified customers, and a combined 200-plus years of carving experience in the artisan team. We use only authentic DuPont-grade Corian. Every piece carries a lifetime consultation guarantee — if anything shifts, cracks or stops working, we fix it. Deliveries reach 28 Indian states and 18 US states, plus the UK, Canada, Australia and Europe.
The team behind the mandir
The founding family runs the factory directly — three generations of mandir craftsmen. Design is led by in-house architects trained in Vastu-compliant proportion. CNC programming is handled by our own production engineer. Six senior artisans hand-finish every Corian mandir, each with 15 to 30 years on acrylic solid surface specifically. Wall-bracket engineering is signed off by our lead fabricator before despatch, and every LED option is vetted by a licensed electrician. Nothing is outsourced — that is why a Satguru wall-mount lasts.

Frequently asked questions
Q: How is the mandir mounted to the wall?
The mandir hangs on a concealed steel cleat screwed into your wall. The Corian back has a matching receiver, so the unit slides down and self-locks. Two threaded feet at the base lip level the mandir on uneven walls.
Q: Will standard drywall hold the mandir?
Yes, provided the cleat is anchored into studs or with the supplied toggle-bolt kit. We load-test each unit to 50 kg. For hollow drywall with no stud access we ship heavy-duty snap-toggle anchors rated well above the mandir's weight.
Q: What is the weight capacity of the bracket?
The Z-section steel cleat is load-tested to 50 kg static, which comfortably carries the mandir plus idols, a small diya tray and pooja saman. For heavier storage builds we upgrade to a double-cleat system at no extra cost.
Q: Can I remove the mandir and re-mount it in another room?
Yes. Lift the mandir off the cleat, unscrew the cleat from the old wall, re-anchor the cleat in the new wall, and re-hang. No damage to the mandir. We ship a spare anchor kit for exactly this reason.
Q: Do I need a stud behind the wall to mount this?
A stud gives the strongest hold, but it is not mandatory. On drywall without a stud, the supplied snap-toggle anchors achieve the rated capacity. On brick or concrete we ship masonry plugs and lag screws.
Q: How deep does the mandir project from the wall?
Depth runs 10 to 18 inches depending on size — deliberately shallow so the mandir does not crowd a corridor or 1-BHK apartment. The compact 18 inch size projects only 10 inches.
