Craftsmanship — three carved elements, one sanctum

Three carvings define this temple. The Om mandala is routed in concentric ring steps on a 19 mm rear Corian panel; each ring is cut to a different depth (6, 9, 12 mm) so the mandala reads as a stepped relief. The 3D pillars are fully sculptural, not flat borders — flute profile routed on all three visible faces, with hand-chamfered edges so the LED halo does not cut hard shadows. The jhaali panels are CNC-fretwork followed by hand-finishing of the inside edges; every jhaali cell is edge-polished because agarbatti smoke should pass through a clean aperture, not a rough one. Each carving zone has its own LED channel — Om mandala gets a central halo, pillars each get a vertical halo, jhaali panels get an edge-lit glow. Depth hierarchy: mandala outer ring 12 mm, pillar flutes 10 mm, jhaali fretwork through-cut.

Material and finish

Built from DuPont-grade Corian in 40+ shade options. Seamless bonded joints, non-porous surface, stable under constant multi-zone LED heat. Corian is essential for this build because jhaali through-cuts require a substrate that holds its edge without chipping — MDF chips, cheap PVC-acrylic yellows along the cut edges, and marble cracks at jhaali intersections. Finish is dual-tone by default: satin on the body, high-gloss on the Om mandala and pillar capitals; gold-leaf fill on the Om mandala rings is the most-ordered premium upgrade.
