3D Corian Temple with Shiva Adiyogi Carving and Backlit Pillars

A purpose-built Shiva pooja unit — the centrepiece is a hand-carved Shiva Adiyogi panel set behind backlit Corian pillars, crowned by a top backlit dome and flanked by elegant side jhaali (jali) panels. The mandir sits low to the ground because Shiva pooja often involves long abhishek rituals from a seated patta posture; the cabinet is sized for that. The Adiyogi face is carved at 12–15 mm relief depth, hand-finished after CNC, and the dome is lit from within by a warm-white halo. Manufactured by Satguru Creations — Mumbai's first Corian mandir manufacturer since 1975, with 10,000+ units delivered across India and export markets.

Design theme and Shiva-bhakta home fit

This Adiyogi temple reads as serious and devotional rather than ornamental, which is why four interior styles request it: (1) Shiva-bhakta family pooja rooms — antique-cream Corian, full Adiyogi panel, low-set platform for abhishek; (2) contemporary Indian villa shrines — Glacier white Corian with bronze-tone inlay along the dome rim; (3) Lingayat and Maharashtrian Shaiva homes — warm-ivory Corian, jali side panels carved with bilva-leaf motif; (4) export Shiva-bhakta NRI homes — Designer white Corian, simplified Adiyogi face, English-Devanagari shloka on the platform. The unit is built for daily abhishek; drainage and water-channeling are part of the spec.

Adiyogi panel and backlit pillar craftsmanship

The Adiyogi face is carved at 12 to 15 mm relief depth — hairline, beard, third eye and meditative posture all hand-finished after CNC. Senior artisans deepen the carving in stages, micro-grit-sand the concave eye sockets, and buff the convex forehead under three polishing pads. Behind each Corian pillar sits a concealed warm-white SMD LED channel at 3000 K, recessed 3 mm into the pillar rear, invisible from the front. The top dome carries its own LED halo behind a Corian fretwork crown. Pillar profile variants: tapered round (default for Shiva temples), square fluted, round with carved capital, or round bilva-engraved. The cabinet has two specific spaces — bilpatra-bowl recess on the left, abhishek drainage channel on the right.

Material, water resistance and finish

Authentic DuPont-grade Corian — non-porous, hygienic, and the only home-temple material that handles daily abhishek without staining. The platform is built with a 3 mm fall toward a hidden drainage channel that empties into a removable Corian tray underneath. Over 40 colour codes — Glacier White, Antique Cream, Designer White, Warm Ivory, Pearl Gray and a marble-effect range. Compared with marble, half the weight and no chipping at the carved panel; compared with wood, no warping under daily water exposure; compared with PVC-acrylic, no yellowing. Standard finish satin matte (preferred for Shiva pooja); high gloss and dual-tone available.

Size specifications

Five standard sizes, custom to the inch. Compact 24" W × 18" D × 36" H. Standard 36" W × 24" D × 60" H — most-ordered for Shiva-bhakta pooja rooms. Large 48" W × 30" D × 72" H — dedicated abhishek pooja-room wall. Premium 60" W × 36" D × 84" H — villa Shiva shrine. Temple-hall 72" W × 42" D × 96" H+ — society Shiva mandir or commercial. Pillar height 24″ to 60″; Adiyogi panel scales with overall width. Platform depth can extend to 36″ for seated long abhishek. Corian thickness 12 mm standard, 19 mm premium for larger Adiyogi panels and dome spans.

The Adiyogi-carving expertise

Three generations of mandir craftsmen run the factory. In-house architects trained in Vastu-compliant proportion plan the Adiyogi panel placement against pillar height. CNC programming is in-house; the actual face relief is finished by senior artisans with documented Shiva-temple work. LED circuits and abhishek drainage are checked by a licensed electrician and our senior installer respectively. Nothing is outsourced — that is why the Adiyogi face reads correctly to a long-time Shiva-bhakta.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Is the Adiyogi face actually hand-carved or just a printed panel?
Hand-carved at 12 to 15 mm relief depth in Corian after CNC routing. No prints, transfers or stickers. The hairline, beard, third eye and meditative posture are all carved into the panel.

Q: Can the cabinet handle daily abhishek water?
Yes. The platform is built with a 3 mm fall toward a hidden drainage channel that empties into a removable Corian tray. Corian itself is non-porous, so it does not stain or absorb.

Q: Which pillar style suits a Shiva temple best?
Tapered round is our default because the proportion complements Adiyogi imagery. Round bilva-engraved and square fluted are also popular for Lingayat homes.

Q: Can you carve a custom likeness instead of the standard Adiyogi?
Yes. Send a reference photo or sculpture and our designer renders before manufacture. Both full face and simplified meditative outlines are common requests.

Q: How long does the Adiyogi panel take to carve?
14 to 20 working days for the full unit at our Mumbai factory. Premium and temple-hall sizes lean to 20 days because of full-scale face relief.

Q: Do you ship this Shiva temple to USA or UK?
Yes. Multiple shipped each year to Shiva-bhakta NRI homes. Export pack ships flat with numbered parts, panel face foam-protected, plus video guide and WhatsApp video support.
