Inside the plinth, a soft-close drawer holds agarbatti, matches, cotton wicks, and small pooja items. A rear cord channel routes LED wiring cleanly if you add shelf lighting.

Material and finish

Every visible face is UV-stable high-grade cast acrylic — a grade specifically chosen so it does not yellow under daily diya warmth or a sunlit window. The carcass is 18 mm BWP (boiling-water-proof) plywood, edge-banded in matching acrylic so no raw ply shows at any corner. Compared with a full Corian build the unit is roughly half the weight; compared with solid wood it will not warp across seasons; compared with pressed PVC-acrylic sheet (the material that fogs and yellows in 18 months) this grade holds clarity and gloss for years.
