Wall-Mount Corian Mandir with Backlit Pillars
This wall-mount Corian mandir with backlit pillars combines two of the most-requested features of our factory into one floating piece: a shallow wall-hung body that clears the floor entirely, and warm-white LED pillars whose light reads as a diya-style halo rather than a bulb. The mandir rides on a concealed steel cleat, the LED driver is hidden in the base, and the pillars glow softly during evening aarti and stay cool enough to run overnight. Hand-built in our Mumbai factory by Satguru Creations since 1975 — the city's first Corian mandir manufacturer and 10,000-plus installations delivered across India and export markets.
Interior styles this design suits
Four style fits work cleanly here. Modern apartment — straight square pillars, matte white Corian, plain arch. Designer villa — tapered round pillars, warm ivory Corian, RGB-capable dimmer for festival modes. Contemporary Indian home — fluted pillars, carved kalash finial, pearl Corian with gold hairline. Overseas apartment — slim 3 inch pillars, Glacier White Corian, warm 3000 K LED only (no RGB), so it reads cleanly in a North-American condo. Because the piece is floating, the pillars appear to hover — the LED halo sits in clean air with no floor line below.
Backlit pillar craftsmanship
Each pillar is CNC-routed from DuPont-grade Corian and then hand-finished — we chamfer the pillar edges by hand so the LED halo casts a soft shoulder of light rather than a hard shadow line, and we polish every concave curve with micro-grit pads to keep the glow even end-to-end. A warm-white SMD LED strip (24 V, IP20, CRI over 90) runs inside an aluminium channel recessed 3 mm into the back of each pillar, invisible from the front. The driver is concealed in the base plinth, with a 1.5 m braided cord to the nearest 5 A socket. Because this is a wall-mount, we route the power cord out of a hidden port at the base-rear so it drops straight into the wall behind the mandir or along the skirting, keeping the floating look uncompromised. The bracket is the same concealed Z-cleat system we use across our wall-mount range — load-tested to 50 kg and shipped with drywall, brick and concrete anchors.
Material and why it matters
DuPont-grade Corian is the only material we build with — authentic acrylic solid surface, not PVC-acrylic sheet. Corian does not yellow around warm LEDs (a common failure mode on cheaper sheets), joins seamlessly along the arch, and accepts a hand-polished gloss that intensifies the back-light halo. Forty-plus colour options, three finishes (high-gloss, satin-matte, dual-tone), and hand-polished seamless joints throughout.
Size specifications
Wall-mount backlit sizes are kept shallow to minimise shadow intrusion. Compact 24 inch W x 12 inch D x 30 inch H — 1-BHK. Apartment 30 inch W x 14 inch D x 36 inch H — most-ordered size. Standard 36 inch W x 16 inch D x 42 inch H — 2-BHK feature wall. Large 42 inch W x 18 inch D x 48 inch H. Premium 48 inch W x 18 inch D x 54 inch H. Corian thickness is 12 mm standard or 19 mm premium; pillar depth is always 19 mm for rigidity around the LED channel. Custom-to-inch on request.

Where this mandir works
1-BHK compact apartment: the 24 inch compact mounts above a sideboard and uses the wall-mount to free the floor. 2-BHK living-room feature wall: the 36 inch standard becomes the evening focal point when the LED halo comes on at sunset. Designer villa pooja wall: the 48 inch premium with carved pillars and RGB festival mode. Compact condo in USA or Canada: the 30 inch apartment size ships flat-pack, clears freight, and runs on 110 V with the included step-down driver option. Entryway shrine: the 24 inch compact at the home's doorway with the halo on a timer welcomes the family home.

Why Satguru Creations
We are the factory and the designer in one house. Founded in 1975 as Mumbai's first Corian mandir manufacturer, now in the third generation, with 10,000-plus Corian mandirs delivered and a 4.8 out of 5 rating from 291 verified reviews. Two-hundred-plus combined artisan-years, DuPont-grade Corian only, lifetime consultation guarantee, field-replaceable LED driver. Deliveries to 28 Indian states plus 18 US states, UK, Canada, Australia and Europe.
Team expertise
Six senior artisans carry the Corian work, each with 15 to 30 years of experience on acrylic solid surface. LED circuit design is vetted by a licensed electrician before every despatch. Wall-cleat engineering is signed off by our lead fabricator. In-house Vastu-trained architects align pillar proportion to traditional rules. Nothing is outsourced — the reason a Satguru backlit wall-mount lasts.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Where does the power cord go on a wall-mount?
The driver sits inside the base plinth and the 1.5 m braided cord exits a hidden port at the base-rear. It drops into the wall behind or runs discreetly along the skirting to the nearest 5 A socket.
Q: Will the cleat hold the extra weight of the LED hardware?
Yes. The total LED package (strip, driver, cabling) adds less than 0.8 kg. The Z-cleat is load-tested to 50 kg, well beyond the complete mandir with pillars, driver and idols.
Q: Does the LED stay cool enough to run overnight?
Yes. The SMD strip runs at low wattage and the aluminium channel acts as a heat sink. Our standard install has ambient-level warmth — safe to leave on overnight, and the Corian will not yellow because we use DuPont-grade stock.
Q: Can I use the mandir on US 110 V supply?
Yes. We supply an international-rated driver (100 to 240 V) for export, plus a US-plug adapter. The LED strip itself is 24 V and identical worldwide.
Q: Can the LED driver be replaced if it ever fails?
Yes. The driver sits in the base plinth behind a service panel, field-replaceable without dismantling the mandir or taking it off the cleat. Replacement drivers are stocked at the factory.
Q: Is RGB festival lighting available on the wall-mount variant?
Yes. The dual-mode warm-white plus RGB strip runs in the same pillar channel. Controlled via Wi-Fi (Alexa, Google Home) or a simple remote. Festival modes pre-set: Diwali gold, Navratri red, Janmashtami blue.
