Jali door craftsmanship and backlit Om panel

The jali (fretwork) doors are CNC-routed at 12 mm Corian thickness with traditional jali patterns — diamond lattice, lotus repeat, or geometric kalash motif — then hand-finished so the inside edges are silk-smooth (sharp jali edges look brittle and unprofessional). The doors swing on concealed hinges so the visible face is unbroken Corian. Behind the doors sits the backlit Om panel — fully customisable in size, motif and depth (4–10 mm carving). A concealed warm-white SMD LED strip behind the panel projects a soft 3000 K halo around the Om, with the LED driver hidden inside the rear cavity for clean wall-mount fit. The cabinet is wall-mount-only by default, on a concealed steel sub-frame rated 40–60 kg.

Material and finish

Authentic DuPont-grade Corian only. The fretwork strength of jali doors specifically requires Corian rather than wood (which warps and cracks at the lattice intersections) or marble (too heavy for a compact wall-mount). Over 40 colour codes available, including Glacier White, Designer White, Pearl Ivory, Antique Cream, Warm Ivory and an antique-marble range. Compared with marble, half the weight; compared with wood, no warping at jali intersections; compared with PVC-acrylic, no yellowing in five years of office light. Standard finish satin matte (so the jali shadow line reads cleanly); high gloss available where the office or apartment leans glossy.
