Corian Mandir for Home with Beautiful Carving Pattern
This beautiful carving corian mandir is built around the carving as the central feature — not just on the pillars but extending across the arch, the deity backplate frame, the side panels and the base, all in a coherent traditional motif of the homeowner's choice. Carving depth runs 10–14 mm, hand-chisel finished by senior artisans, with motif edges hand-rounded so each pattern reads soft and considered, never laser-brittle. Hand-built by Satguru Creations, Mumbai's first Corian mandir manufacturer since 1975, with 10,000+ installations delivered across India and four export continents.
Design theme — which interiors it fits
The full-pattern carved build suits: (1) heritage Marwari household with curated antique furniture — the carving converses with the existing aesthetic; (2) Rajasthani villa pooja room with traditional architectural motifs; (3) South Indian heritage household — we adapt the carving language to South Indian gopuram tradition; (4) NRI heritage-conscious household in USA, UK, Canada or Australia where the homeowner wants an unmistakably traditional shrine. Pattern coverage is full at this build level; we recommend the larger sizes (48 inch and above) so each motif reads at intended scale.
Full-pattern hand-carving engineering
Carving the full cabinet (not just the pillars) needs a different production approach. Our process: (a) motif composition — in-house architects work with the homeowner to compose a coherent pattern that flows from the arch through the side panels to the base; (b) CNC rough at slow feed across all carved surfaces in one mounted pass to keep motif alignment consistent; (c) hand-chisel finish on every deeper pass (10–14 mm depth) by six senior artisans; (d) edge rounding — every motif edge is hand-finished with micro-grit pads so the carving reads soft and considered. The deity backplate frame is the showpiece — we typically carve it deepest (14 mm) and frame it with a sub-pattern that complements the central motif.
Material and finish
Built in DuPont-grade Corian, joints chemically bonded and sanded flush. Premium 19 mm Corian sheet recommended on full-pattern carved builds so the deeper passes have material to work in. Corian's biggest advantage on full-pattern carving: it is solid through, so the entire carving is part of the material with no veneer to peel. Forty-plus sheet codes available; for full-pattern builds we most often use Warm Ivory because it picks up shadow lines along the carving and gives the cabinet a warm heritage glow.
Size specifications
Five standard sizes; every measurement custom-to-inch. Compact 36″ W × 24″ D × 60″ H (full-pattern needs a minimum size to read). Standard 48″ W × 30″ D × 72″ H. Large 60″ W × 36″ D × 84″ H — most-ordered for full-pattern. Premium 72″ W × 42″ D × 96″ H — villa heritage centrepiece. Temple-hall 84″ W × 48″ D × 108″ H+. Corian thickness 19 mm premium standard for full-pattern carving.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Is the carving fully hand-done?
The carving outline is CNC roughed for accuracy, then every deeper pass (10 to 14 mm) and every motif edge is hand-chisel finished by senior artisans. The hand-finish texture is what makes full-pattern carving read traditional.
Q: What carving traditions do you offer for full-pattern builds?
Marwari peacock-and-kalash, Rajasthani gopuram, South Indian gopuram with kalash capitals, Maharashtrian temple silhouette, Gujarati family-motif tradition, plus custom heritage compositions.
Q: How long does full-pattern carving take to finish?
Full-pattern builds add 8 to 12 working days to the standard timeline. Total lead time is typically 18 to 25 working days at our Mumbai factory after motif composition is approved.
Q: Can you carve a custom family-deity motif into the deity backplate?
Yes. Send a high-resolution image; we convert to a CNC outline and hand-chisel the deeper passes at 14 mm depth so the family-deity reads three-dimensional inside the carved frame.
Q: Will the carving last over generations?
Yes. Corian is solid-through, so the carving is part of the material. There is no print to fade or veneer to peel. Family-deity heritage builds are designed to be passed down through generations.
Q: Do you ship full-pattern carved Corian mandirs internationally?
Yes. Over 200 Corian mandirs delivered to North America. Full-pattern builds ship in extra-protected crates with foam over every carved face; install supported over WhatsApp video.
