Two-Tier Jali Corian Temple with Peacock Carved Doors
This two-tier jali corian temple brings together a sloped two-tier roof, octagonal segmented pillars and CNC peacock-jali fretwork on the cabinet doors — the kind of build we usually deliver to large villa pooja rooms and community housing-society temples. The peacock jali on the doors lets warm LED glow through at night; the upper tier carries a backlit Om mandala; the lower tier hides storage for festival articles. Closed, the doors read as artwork; open, the shrine takes the full width of the cabinet without a visible door edge inside the niche. Hand-built by Satguru Creations, Mumbai's first Corian mandir manufacturer since 1975, with 10,000+ installations delivered across India and four export continents.
Design theme — which interiors it fits
The two-tier jali format suits: (1) large villa pooja room — the cabinet anchors the room as a single composition; (2) 3-BHK or 4-BHK family pooja room with daily evening aarti; (3) housing-society temple — size, motif and durability all read appropriate for community use; (4) NRI luxury condo — the cabinet ships flat in two crates and assembles into a destination shrine. Pattern density is full; we recommend the larger sizes (48 inch and above) so the two-tier composition reads at intended scale.
Two-tier jali fretwork engineering
The doors carry CNC peacock-jali, hand-finished cut-out by cut-out, with rounded inner edges so the jali never reads laser-brittle. A removable fine-mesh dust filter mounts behind each jali door so dust is intercepted before it reaches the deity panel. The upper-tier Om mandala is 3D-carved at 12 mm depth and backlit with a separate warm-white LED channel. The lower tier carries a continuous backlight behind the jali peacock pattern. Octagonal segmented pillars are CNC-faceted then hand-polished on every facet so the segment edges read crisp. We hand-finish the joint between the two tiers so the slope reads as one continuous form, not as a stacked assembly.
Material and finish
Built in DuPont-grade Corian, joints chemically bonded and sanded flush. The peacock jali is structural; the carved mandala is solid-through and will not fade. Forty-plus sheet codes available; we most often build this design in Warm Ivory or Designer White so the LED reads through the jali warmly. Half the weight of a marble equivalent — an important consideration on a two-tier composition delivered to upper-floor villa pooja rooms.
Size specifications
Five standard sizes; every measurement custom-to-inch. Compact 36″ W × 24″ D × 60″ H. Standard 48″ W × 30″ D × 72″ H — most-ordered for villa shrines. Large 60″ W × 36″ D × 84″ H. Premium 72″ W × 42″ D × 96″ H. Temple-hall 84″ W × 48″ D × 108″ H+ for housing-society and community temples. Corian thickness 19 mm premium recommended on this build because the jali, the carved mandala and the slope joint all benefit from thicker material.

Why Satguru Creations
We are not a reseller — we are the factory. 1975 founding, 10,000+ Corian mandirs delivered, 4.8/5 from 291 verified customers. Two-tier compositions are a craft test — the upper slope, the segmented pillars and the jali doors all need to read as one piece, which only happens when CNC, carving, polishing and LED wiring sit under one roof. We keep all of it in-house. Lifetime consultation guarantee; field-replaceable LED driver. Delivered to 18 US states, UK, Canada, Australia and 28 Indian states.
Expertise
Three-generation family business. In-house Vastu-trained architects compose the two-tier proportion. Production engineer specifies pillar segmentation and slope geometry; six senior artisans (15–30 years on Corian) hand-finish jali doors and the slope joint. Frequently asked questions
Q: Will dust enter through the peacock-jali doors?
A removable fine-mesh dust filter mounts behind each jali door, between the jali and the deity panel. Air moves through but dust does not settle on the idol.
Q: Can the jali doors be backlit?
Yes. A continuous warm-white LED channel mounts behind the deity panel and an additional zone behind the upper-tier mandala, so doors and mandala can be lit independently on a 2-channel or 4-channel dimmer.
Q: What standard jali patterns are available for the doors?
Peacock (default), banana leaf, lotus jhaali, geometric Rajasthani, Kerala palm. Density adjustable from 60 percent open to 30 percent open.
Q: Can I supply a custom mandala or family-deity motif for the upper tier?
Yes. Send a high-resolution image; we convert to a CNC pattern and hand-chisel the deeper passes at 12 mm depth so the mandala reads three-dimensional.
Q: Will the jali doors hold up to daily opening and closing?
Yes. Corian is solid-through, 19 mm premium thickness recommended at this size. The jali is engineered for ornamentation; structural panels carry the cabinet load and the hinges are heavy-duty.
Q: Do you ship two-tier jali temples internationally?
Yes. Over 200 Corian mandirs delivered to North America. The two-tier ships flat in two crates with the slope-joint pre-aligned and LED pre-wired; assembly takes around 4–5 hours with WhatsApp-video support.
