Corian Marble Temple — 6 ft Regal Round Pillar Home Mandir
A Corian marble temple in a regal silhouette: 6 feet tall, flanked by large regal round pillars reminiscent of temple architecture, crowned with a gopuram stepped top, finished in a marble-look ivory Corian that reads as high-end stone without the 200-kilo weight, cracking problems, or ongoing sealing needs of real marble. This is the home mandir for the customer who wanted a marble temple but needed a material that survives apartment lift loads, daily pooja rituals, and decades of moisture. Hand-built by Satguru Creations, Mumbai's first Corian mandir manufacturer since 1975, with 10,000+ temples delivered.
Design theme — where regal round-pillar mandirs fit
Four specific homes buy this exact silhouette: (1) heritage Indian villa — ivory Corian marble-look body, gloss regal pillars, full gopuram stepped crown, carved medallion on the backdrop; (2) 3-BHK dedicated pooja room — reduced-scale version with standard round pillars and a 3-step gopuram; (3) NRI family home in USA/UK/Canada — same regal silhouette in Glacier White for Western drywall contexts, ships in flat-pack crate; (4) commercial housing-society mini-temple — scaled to temple-hall size, reinforced, GST invoice. The round pillars taper subtly top-to-base like classical stone temple columns — hand-rolled in Corian, seam-polished invisible.
Craftsmanship — regal pillar and gopuram crown
Three craftsmanship signatures define the regal archetype: (a) the regal round pillars are 9–12 inches in diameter (larger than our standard pillar archetype) and rolled from a single Corian sheet, seam thermally bonded and hand-polished along the full 6 ft height — bigger diameter demands more precise rolling; (b) the gopuram crown is built from 5–7 stepped Corian segments, each segment thermal-bonded to the one below, with the top segment finished in a kalash finial; (c) the marble-look Corian finish is achieved with a specific DuPont colour code that carries a subtle veining reminiscent of Makrana white marble. Every joint seamless; no visible seam line anywhere.
Material & finish
Built in DuPont-grade Corian with specific veined or near-veined colours that read as marble. Compared to real marble this material wins on four counts: (1) weight — a 6 ft marble temple weighs 200–300 kg, a Corian equivalent is 60–90 kg, drastically easier to move and lift to upper-floor apartments; (2) cracking — marble cracks along its natural veins under impact, Corian does not crack; (3) sealing — marble needs annual sealing to resist milk-abhishek and ghee staining, Corian is non-porous and needs nothing; (4) seams — marble mandirs show every joint, Corian thermal bonds are invisible. 40+ colour options; ivory, pearl, warm cream and Glacier White lead the regal archetype.
Size specifications
Five standard sizes. Reduced regal 54" W × 28" D × 72" H — for 3-BHK dedicated pooja rooms. Signature regal 66" W × 32" D × 84" H — the 6 ft reference build. Large regal 78" W × 36" D × 90" H — villa hall. Premium regal 90" W × 42" D × 96" H — grand villa shrine or commercial. Temple-hall 96"+ — built-to-site. Corian thickness 19mm throughout regal builds; pillar diameter 9–12 inches, gopuram crown 5–7 stepped tiers. Base plinth depth extensible to 36" for seated aarti.

Why Satguru Creations
Since 1975, Satguru has specialised in Corian replacements for traditional marble mandirs. The regal round-pillar archetype specifically is one of our oldest designs — we have refined the pillar roll, the gopuram step, and the marble-look finish across decades. 10,000+ mandirs delivered, 4.8/5 from 291 verified buyers. Regular export to USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, UAE. Every unit carries our lifetime consultation guarantee.
Expertise
Three generations of the founder family. Large-format regal production is led by our senior foreman with 30 years on Corian; the gopuram stepped crown specifically is a specialist craft of his hand. Pillar-rolling for 9–12 inch diameters is done by a specialist with 20+ years on curved solid-surface work. Vastu-trained in-house architect sets regal pillar-to-crown-to-base proportion. Licensed electrician vets any pillar or gopuram LED wiring.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Does the marble-look Corian really pass for marble to a guest's eye?
From 3 feet away, yes — especially in veined Corian variants. Up close, knowledgeable guests may notice Corian's more uniform surface. We think this is a feature, not a bug: the piece reads regal without carrying marble's ongoing maintenance burden.
Q: Can a 6 ft regal mandir fit in a standard apartment lift?
Yes with our flat-pack approach. Pillars, gopuram tiers, backdrop, and base ship in separate crates; we thermal-bond seams on-site in your apartment. Standard lift-friendly install.
Q: How much does the 6 ft regal weigh?
60–90 kg in 19mm Corian depending on base storage configuration. A comparable marble temple would weigh 200–300 kg. This is the primary practical advantage of Corian for upper-floor apartments.
Q: Do the gopuram tiers need separate anchoring?
No. The gopuram tiers are thermal-bonded into a single structural unit at the factory. The full crown sits on the pillar tops, bearing its load through the pillar structure. No separate ceiling or wall anchoring needed.
Q: Will the marble-look finish fade or yellow?
No. DuPont Corian is UV-stable and dimensionally stable. The marble-look finish stays true across decades — we have regal Corian mandirs in Mumbai villas running 20+ years with zero colour shift.
Q: Can I get this design in cream-gold instead of ivory?
Yes. Cream-gold is our second-most-ordered colour on the regal archetype. It pairs beautifully with the gopuram crown and reads warm in traditional Indian villa interiors.
