3D Corian Mandir with Side Jali Panels and Sitting Stand
This 3d corian mandir with sitting stand is built around a different jali idea — the fretwork sits on the side panels rather than the doors, so light passes through the cabinet sides into the shrine and the front face stays open for seated aarti. The platform is extended forward as a sitting stand for traditional bhajan and the deity panel carries a 3D-carved focal motif. A discreet roller curtain at the front gives the option of closing the shrine when not in use. Hand-built by Satguru Creations, Mumbai's first Corian mandir manufacturer since 1975, with 10,000+ installations delivered across India and four export continents.
Design theme — which interiors it fits
Side-jali plus sitting-stand suits: (1) traditional Marwari pooja room — bhajan time is part of daily worship and the seated platform is a working feature, not just decorative; (2) villa shrine for grandparents — sitting stand removes the need to fold legs on the floor; (3) 2-BHK pooja room with regular havan — jali sides allow smoke and air movement so the shrine ventilates naturally; (4) NRI Indian-aesthetic condo — combination reads unmistakably traditional but builds in Corian's modern crispness. The roller curtain hides everything during travel or guests; jali sides keep the cabinet breathing even when the curtain is down.
Side-panel jali and seated platform engineering
The jali on the sides has the same fretwork engineering as a door build — CNC rout, hand-finished edges on every cut-out by six senior artisans, then a removable fine-mesh dust filter on the inner face so insects and dust cannot reach the deity panel. The sitting stand extends the front platform forward by 12–18 inches and is reinforced with a hidden steel sub-frame inside the Corian platform, rated for adult seated weight. The roller curtain mounts on a top-fixed spring tube and rolls down silently. We hand-finish the platform-to-panel joint so the seam is invisible — this is one of those details only a factory build gets right because it has to be done before the side panels are mounted.
Material and finish
Whole cabinet in DuPont-grade Corian, chemically bonded and sanded flush. Side jali panels are 12 mm or 19 mm thick depending on size. Corian's biggest advantage on this build: it does not warp or crack under the weight of seated aarti or the heat of nearby diya use. Forty-plus sheet codes available; for traditional sitting-stand mandirs we most often see Warm Ivory or Pearl Gray Corian.
Size specifications
Five standard sizes; every dimension custom-to-inch. Compact 30″ W × 24″ D × 48″ H (slightly wider than baseline to take the sitting stand). Standard 36″ W × 30″ D × 60″ H — most-ordered sitting-stand size. Large 48″ W × 36″ D × 72″ H. Premium 60″ W × 42″ D × 84″ H. Temple-hall 72″ W × 48″ D × 96″ H+. Sitting stand depth 12–18 inches forward of the cabinet; height adjustable for short or tall users. Corian thickness 19 mm premium recommended on the seated platform.
Customisation — what you can change
- Corian colour: Warm Ivory, Pearl Gray, Designer White, Glacier White, and 35+ more.
- Jali pattern (sides): banana leaf, peepal leaf, lotus jhaali, geometric Rajasthani.
- Sitting stand: 12 inch, 15 inch or 18 inch projection; with or without padded knee cushion option.

Space suitability
Traditional 2-BHK pooja room: 36″ standard with 12-inch sitting stand and warm-ivory side jali. Villa shrine for grandparents: 48″ large with 15-inch sitting stand at adjusted height for comfortable seated aarti. Bhajan-active home: 60″ premium with 18-inch sitting stand and reinforced sub-frame. Housing-society temple: 72″+ with multiple sitting positions. NRI export: 36″ sitting-stand mandir — ships flat, jali sides pre-finished, sub-frame ships built-in.

Why Satguru Creations
We are not a reseller — we are the factory. 1975 founding, 10,000+ Corian mandirs delivered, 4.8/5 from 291 verified customers. Sitting-stand builds are structural — they need a hidden sub-frame engineered into the Corian platform, which only a factory can do correctly. We keep the steel sub-frame, the Corian skin and the jali finishing all in-house. Lifetime consultation guarantee on every unit.
Expertise
Three-generation family. Vastu-trained architects design the seated-aarti ergonomic. Production engineer specifies the steel sub-frame and the curtain hardware. Six senior artisans (15–30 years on Corian) hand-finish jali cut-outs and platform joints.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Will dust enter through the side jali panels?
A removable fine-mesh dust filter sits on the inner face of each jali side panel, so air moves through but dust does not settle on the deity panel.
Q: Can the jali sides be backlit?
Yes. The optional LED channel can be mounted to throw light through the side jali in addition to behind the deity panel, so the cabinet glows from the sides at night.
Q: Will the sitting stand take adult weight?
Yes. The platform has a hidden steel sub-frame engineered for seated adult use. We load-test every unit during 32-point QC before despatch.
Q: Is the roller curtain silent and reliable?
Yes. The curtain rolls on a top-fixed spring tube tested through 200 cycles. We finish the front guide channels by hand so the curtain travels without rub.
Q: Can I match the sitting-stand height to my elder relative?
Yes. Tell us the user's seated knee-to-floor height and we manufacture the platform to that exact dimension. Standard offered heights span 14 to 22 inches off the floor.
Q: Do you ship sitting-stand jali mandirs internationally?
Yes. Over 200 Corian mandirs to North America. The sub-frame ships built-in; jali side panels are foam-protected; assembly takes around 3 to 4 hours with WhatsApp video support.
