3D Corian Temple with Square Pillars and Carved Arc

This temple unit pairs four square fluted Corian pillars with a single sculpted arc, so the eye is drawn upward through the carving rather than across a flat panel. The square profile suits homes that want a structured, architectural pooja room rather than a soft contemporary look — sharp pillar shoulders, recessed flutes down each face, and a kalash motif that crowns the arc above the deity. Every flute is hand-finished after CNC routing so the shadow line stays crisp under aarti light. Manufactured by Satguru Creations — Mumbai's first Corian mandir manufacturer since 1975, with 10,000+ units delivered across India and export markets.

Design theme and style fit

The square-pillar profile reads as serious and architectural, which is why four interior styles request it most: (1) contemporary Indian villas — pearl-white Corian, square pillars, kalash arc, brass diya tray; (2) heritage Marwari and Rajput homes — dual-tone ivory and ochre, hand-engraved swastik on each pillar face, peacock arc carving; (3) commercial corporate prayer rooms — matte white Corian, plain fluting, low-key arc, wipe-clean panels; (4) South-Indian style apartment pooja rooms — bevel-cut square pillars, gopuram arc instead of kalash, antique-bronze Corian inlay. Every style retains the same 12 mm Corian thickness and the same hand-carved arc — only the motif and finish change.

3D pillar craftsmanship and arc carving

This is where the unit earns its name. Each square pillar carries hand-finished 3D fluting at a depth of 6–12 mm, routed first on our CNC and then refined under hand chisels so the flute walls are perfectly parallel and the inner curve is silk-smooth. The arc is carved as a single Corian piece with a 3D kalash motif rising 10–15 mm proud of the surface, hand-polished on the convex face and micro-grit-sanded inside the concave shadow line. The pillar capitals and bases are separate Corian pieces, joined seamlessly to the shaft with our invisible bonding technique — no visible joint, no colour mismatch. Available pillar variants: square fluted (default), tapered square, round capital with square base, or plain square for a minimalist read. We do not chip-carve or use applied trim.

Material and finish

Built from authentic DuPont-grade Corian, the same acrylic solid surface used in luxury kitchens and hospital surgical suites. Corian does not yellow, does not warp, and joins seamlessly so the pillars and arc read as a single piece. Choose from over 40 colour codes — Glacier White, Designer White, Warm Ivory, Pearl Gray, Canvas, and a full antique-marble range. Compared with marble it weighs roughly half and never chips at corners; compared with wood it does not warp in coastal humidity; compared with cheap PVC-acrylic it never yellows over five years of daily aarti. Standard finish is satin matte; high-gloss and dual-tone (gloss arc + matte pillars) are available.

Size specifications

Five standard sizes are stocked, every dimension custom to the inch. Compact 24" W × 18" D × 36" H — apartment alcove. Standard 36" W × 24" D × 60" H — most-ordered size, suits a 10×12 ft pooja room. Large 48" W × 30" D × 72" H — dedicated pooja-room wall. Premium 60" W × 36" D × 84" H — villa feature wall. Temple-hall 72" W × 42" D × 96" H+ — built to site for housing-society temples and commercial spaces. Pillar height ranges 24″ to 60″ depending on overall size; arc span follows total unit width. Corian thickness 12 mm standard, 19 mm premium for larger arc spans. Wall-mount variant available up to 48″ W.

What you can customise

  • Corian colour: Glacier White, Pearl Ivory, Antique Cream, dual-tone or any DuPont-grade code.
  • Pillar profile: square fluted, tapered square, plain square, or square base with round capital.
  • Arc motif: kalash, gopuram, peacock, swastik with om, lotus, or your custom family motif.
  • Door type: open altar (default), full sliding door, pocket door, or jali fretwork door.
  • Storage: integrated drawers, agarbatti compartment, or hidden cabinet for festive items.
  • Finish: satin matte, high gloss, or dual-tone gloss arc with matte pillars.
  • Lighting: optional concealed warm-white LED behind pillar capitals or under the arc.

Where this temple suits

Apartment pooja room: the standard 36″ size with kalash arc anchors a 10×12 ft room without crowding it. Villa shrine: large or premium size with carved peacock arc and 36″ deep platform for seated aarti — many of our Mumbai and Pune villa clients choose this combination. Heritage Marwari and Gujarati homes: dual-tone ivory finish with hand-engraved swastik faces — visually echoes traditional havelis without the weight of marble. Corporate prayer hall: temple-hall size with reinforced steel sub-frame, GST invoice and on-site install. Compact 1-BHK: 24″ size with plain square pillars fits an alcove without dominating the room.

Why Satguru Creations

We are the factory, not a reseller. Founded in 1975, Satguru Creations was Mumbai's first Corian mandir manufacturer and remains the longest-running specialist on the material. Over 10,000 Corian mandirs have shipped from our workshop to homes, villas, gurudwaras and corporate spaces across India and overseas. Customer feedback runs at 4.8 out of 5 from 291 verified reviews, and our artisan team carries a combined 200+ years of carving experience. Every unit uses authentic DuPont-grade Corian — never the cheap PVC-acrylic that yellows. A lifetime consultation guarantee covers fit, polish and any LED component. Delivered to 18 US states, Canada, UK, Australia, the Gulf and 28 Indian states.

Expertise behind every pillar

Three generations of mandir craftsmen run the factory. Design is led by in-house architects trained in Vastu-compliant proportion, so the pillar height-to-arc-span ratio sits within scriptural guidance. CNC programming is done by our own production engineer; the actual flute carving is finished by six senior artisans, each with 15–30 years on Corian specifically. Optional LED circuits are vetted by a licensed electrician before despatch. No part of the build is outsourced — that is why a Satguru Corian temple keeps its sharpness for decades.

Frequently asked questions

Q: How is the 3D depth on the pillars actually achieved?
The flutes are first routed on our CNC at a 6 to 12 mm depth, then a senior artisan refines each flute under hand chisel so the side walls are parallel and the inner curve is silk-smooth.

Q: Which pillar styles are available beyond the default square fluted?
You can choose square fluted, tapered square, plain square, or a square base with round capital. We can also engrave swastik, om or family motif on each pillar face.

Q: Can I add a custom motif to the arc instead of the kalash?
Yes. The arc is a separate Corian piece carved to your motif. Common requests are gopuram, peacock, lotus, om and swastik. Send a reference image on WhatsApp and we render before manufacture.

Q: How long does the hand-carving take from order to despatch?
3D pillar and arc units take 12 to 18 working days at our Mumbai factory. Larger 60 inch and 72 inch sizes lean toward 18 days because the arc carving is heavier.

Q: Will the sharp 3D edges chip in shipping or daily use?
No. Corian is a homogeneous solid surface, not a veneer, so a chipped edge is almost impossible from normal use. The unit ships in a corner-padded crate, and any factory-finish edge is repolishable on site.

Q: Do you ship this 3D pillar unit overseas?
Yes. Over 200 units shipped to USA, UK, Canada and Australia. The export pack ships flat with numbered parts, English-Hindi-Gujarati video and remote WhatsApp video support.
