Backlit Large Corian Temple with Om Mandala, Gayatri Pillars and Tilted Dome
Four distinct sacred elements in one commercial-scale mandir: a backlit three-layer Om mandala as the deity backplate, two Gayatri mantra carved square pillars, a flight of four traditional moklas for deity line-up, and a modern tilted gopuram dome crown that gives the shrine its contemporary silhouette. This is not a domestic mandir scaled up — it is built from the ground up for society, ashram and overseas community temples. Manufactured by Satguru Creations, Mumbai's first Corian mandir manufacturer since 1975, with 10,000+ installations across India and export markets in USA, UK, Canada and Australia.
Where this temple fits stylistically
The Om mandala plus tilted dome is a deliberately modern-traditional hybrid. It works in four large contexts: (1) modern-traditional housing-society temple — ivory Corian, restrained gold on the mandala, flat-front moklas; (2) luxury designer villa shrine room — dual-tone gold-and-ivory, full three-layer Om with dimmable RGB behind; (3) overseas ISKCON or ashram prayer hall — taller dome, full Gayatri mantra in Devanagari, knock-down panel shipping; (4) corporate prayer room or hotel multi-faith space — subdued palette, cool-white backlight, minimalist mokla count. The tilted dome is a signature element — our architects rake the dome axis five degrees off vertical to catch ceiling light rather than shadow.
Three-layer Om mandala and mokla craftsmanship
The Om mandala is CNC-cut in three separate Corian layers, each offset by 8 mm to create physical depth the LED halo can read. Rear layer is mirror-polished Corian, middle layer carries the mandala ring, front layer holds the Om in hand-carved relief. Warm-white SMD LED in aluminium channel fills the cavity between layers — this is why the backlight reads as an interior glow, not an edge wash. The four moklas (deity shelves) are cantilevered off concealed steel brackets inside the Corian body so no underside bracket shows. Each mokla is sized for a standard deity footprint and edged with a hand-chamfered lip. Gayatri mantra on the pillars is routed 4 mm deep and hand-cleaned of every character serif before polish.
Material and finish
Built in authentic DuPont-grade Corian throughout. Non-porous, seam-bondable, resistant to yellowing, thermally stable for continuous diya use. Over 40 shade options — this design is most ordered in Glacier White with gold inlay on the Om, or dual-tone Warm Ivory plus Canvas on the dome. Compared to marble, one-third the weight and survives apartment-lift transport. Compared to teak, it will not warp in Mumbai humidity or desert Dubai dryness. We never use PVC-acrylic substitutes that yellow under heat. Finish options: high-gloss, satin-matte, dual-tone, or anti-microbial for hospital use.
Commercial-hall sizes
Built in large-hall sizes and scaled for built-to-site deployments. Large 72″ W × 36″ D × 96″ H — society pooja room, 12×14 ft hall. Premium 84″ W × 42″ D × 108″ H — ashram sanctum, villa feature wall. Temple-hall 96″ W × 48″ D × 120″ H — clubhouse, corporate chapel. XL 120″ W × 54″ D × 132″ H — overseas community temple. Built-to-site for 12-foot-plus walls with additional moklas for multi-deity line-up. Corian thickness 12 mm standard, 19 mm premium for high-traffic surfaces. Dome tilt angle adjustable 0–10 degrees; Om mandala diameter scales 24″–60″.

Why Satguru Creations
We have been Mumbai's first Corian mandir manufacturer since 1975 and have delivered more than 10,000 units, including institutional temples to four continents. Our 4.8/5 average across 291 verified reviews is visible on the storefront. A layered Om mandala on a commercial Corian shrine needs CNC precision plus hand-finish discipline plus LED engineering — we run all three under one factory roof in Mumbai. Every large order carries a lifetime consultation guarantee, GST invoice, export paperwork, and a sub-frame engineered for community-pooja loads.
Expertise
Three-generation family workshop. In-house Vastu-trained architects. Six senior Corian carvers with 15–30 years each. Gayatri-mantra routing done by one specialist artisan who has executed over 1,800 such panels — Devanagari serifs get cleaned by hand before polish. Licensed electrician vets every LED loom. Production engineer signs off steel sub-frames for commercial and institutional orders.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Is the Om mandala really three separate layers or a printed effect?
Three physical Corian layers, each offset by 8 mm. The LED halo sits in the cavity between layers. You can see the depth by running a finger across the front; it is not a printed decal.
Q: Can the Gayatri mantra be replaced with a different shloka?
Yes. We route Mahamrityunjaya, Navkar, Ganesh atharvashirsha, or any Devanagari shloka supplied by you. Provide a clean text file; we return proof for approval before cutting.
Q: Does the tilted dome affect the roof clearance?
No. The dome tilts within its own footprint — it does not protrude further forward. Ceiling clearance is calculated on the straight-dome height.
Q: Is a GST invoice issued to a trust or society buyer?
Yes. Full GST invoice in the trust, society or company name with HSN coding. Overseas buyers receive commercial invoice and export declaration.
Q: Do you ship to a USA or Canada ISKCON temple in knock-down?
Yes. The unit is modular. Panels crate flat in a 20-foot container; numbered parts, assembly video and WhatsApp-video support on install day.
Q: How many moklas are possible for a multi-deity line-up?
Four standard; we build six, eight or ten moklas on built-to-site orders. Each mokla is cantilevered on a concealed steel bracket rated for idol weight.
