This is our flagship 2x6 ft Shiva-themed mandir — the brief for the family that wants every signature element in a single piece. The temple carries a three-layer 3D profiled backplate with a hand-carved Trishul-and-Damaru as its central icon, flanked by two carved Shubh Labh pillars, all sitting above a three-drawer storage row with double cabinet for festival articles. Concealed warm-white LED layers each profile from behind so the temple reads dimensional even before sunrise. Design theme — the interiors it anchors

This is a centrepiece build, suited to four interior types: (1) designer villa pooja room — warm-ivory Corian, gold-leaf accent on Trishul prongs, three layers of relief on the backplate; (2) contemporary Indian 3-BHK with feature wall — pearl-white body, Trishul in matched tone, RGB festival LED option for Mahashivratri; (3) modern-traditional fusion home — gloss white body with Shubh Labh pillars in matte ivory, dual-tone reading; (4) Shiva-devotee household — full backlit Trishul halo, deep three-layer profile, deep cabinet sized for rudraksha mala, conch and prasad utensils. We tune the Shubh Labh pillar carving depth and the Trishul relief height to match the room scale.

Craftsmanship — three layers, two pillars, one continuous piece

The technical challenge in this build is keeping all three backplate layers visually aligned through CNC and hand-finishing — a 1 mm offset between layers reads as a misprint to a Shiva-devotee customer. Our protocol: master-template alignment jig for all three layers, single-pass CNC for the Trishul, hand-chisel finishing on the Damaru curls, and a final raking-light inspection. The Shubh Labh pillars are carved as separate solid Corian columns and threaded onto captive inserts at the base. The storage row uses full-extension ball-bearing soft-close runners for every drawer; cabinet doors close on concealed magnetic catches with a continuous dust-resistant gasket. Backlit halo channels are aluminium 3-mm-recessed, carrying warm-white 3000 K SMD LED at IP20, with a field-replaceable driver in the base plinth. Built and finished at our Mumbai workshop.

Material & finish

Every visible surface — Trishul, Shubh Labh pillars, three backplate layers, storage doors and platform — is DuPont-grade acrylic solid-surface Corian. Joints are chemically welded so the multi-layer reads as carved from a single block. Forty-plus DuPont colour codes available; gloss, satin or matte finish; gold-leaf accent optional on Trishul prongs and on Shubh Labh script. Versus a marble Trishul: roughly one-fifth the weight, no chip risk on the prong tips. Versus wooden Shubh Labh pillars: zero warp risk during monsoon, no swelling at pillar bases. The LED-channel aluminium is anodised so it doesn't oxidise behind the Corian.

The listed default is approximately 72" H × 24" D × 24" W (the 2 ft x 6 ft profile). Five custom variants build out from there. Compact 2 ft 24" W × 18" D × 60" H — single-layer Trishul, no Shubh Labh pillars, one drawer + cabinet. Standard 3 ft 36" W × 22" D × 72" H — two-layer Trishul, simplified Shubh Labh script, two drawers + cabinet. Listed 2x6 ft 24" W × 24" D × 72" H — three-layer Trishul, full Shubh Labh pillars, three drawers + double cabinet (this product). Wide 4 ft 48" W × 24" D × 78" H — full three-layer with extended pillars. Hall 6 ft 72" W × 30" D × 90" H+ — built-to-site for villa Shiva-shrine.
