Third, the plinth is proportioned to the canopy — not a generic 4" plinth but a plinth sized to the specific canopy you pick, because that proportion is what eye-reads as elegant. Material and finish

Every face is UV-stable high-grade cast acrylic, graded for non-yellowing across years of daily diya warmth and windowed sunlight. The carcass is 18 mm BWP plywood, edge-banded in matching acrylic at every exposed corner. Compared with a full Corian mandir the unit is approximately half the weight; compared with solid wood it does not warp through monsoons; compared with pressed PVC-acrylic (the flat-pack grade that fogs and yellows in 18 months) it holds clarity and gloss for years of use.
